Toyota Yaris Compact Sedan Arrives In India : Auto Expo 2018

Toyota Kirloskar finally unveiled its new offering The Toyota Yaris compact sedan in India. Toyota is going to launch Yaris in mid 2018. Through Yaris compact sedan the Toyota is going to jump in highly competitive segment. The Toyota is not including diesel variant in the portfolio of Yaris.

we waited for long for Yaris and now it is on the way to launch. The company is mainly focusing on safety qualifications, car’s interior space and styling. Toyota is not choosing diesel engine with Yaris so it will compete with the petrol version of Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. The Toyota Yaris will come with a 1.5 litre dual VVT-i petrol engine with the option of a 6-speed manual or 7-speed CVT auto.

The Toyota Yaris comes with many features including a roof-mounted air recirculation vent with LED highlight for rear passengers, 7 airbags (including curtain and knee airbags), disc brakes on all wheels, a tyre pressure monitoring system, parking sensors up front, a power adjust driver-side seat and gesture control for the audio. It also gets auto projector headlamps, touchscreen navigation, ABS with EBD, stability control, alloy wheels, a shark fin antenna, rear camera, faux leather seats, cruise control, paddle shift on the CVT, steering mounted controls, rear power outlets, and a start button.

The faux leather seats makes the interior a luxurious and premium feel. The steering is not telescopic and hight adjustable only. The Toyota Yaris gets a drop-down armrest with built-in twin cup holders at the back too, and the seat has a 60:40 split. The Toyota Yaris also comes with sharp line design LED parking lights on the inner side of the headlamp cluster and LED DRLs (daylight running lights) set in the bumper.

The Toyota Yaris comes with 15″ alloys, and the car’s wheelbase is also impressive. The rear lights of Toyota Yaris use LEDs and look sharp and contemporary. The Toyota will launch Yaris early may 2018.
