Mahindra has introduced the Scorpio Adventure Limited Edition in India. The new car is available with either a 2WD (two-wheel-drive) or a 4WD (four-wheel-drive) system. The car with 2WD is priced at 13.1 Lakh and the car with 4WD is priced at 14.2 Lakh. These prices are ex-showroom Delhi. Prices will not be the same in other states.

Mahindra has also confirmed that this limited edition Scorpio Adventure will be limited to only 1000 units.

The new Mahindra Scorpio Adventure is based on the standard S10 variant. The new Limited Edition Scorpio Adventure comes with same turbocharged 4-cylinder mHAWK diesel unit with a cubic capacity of 2.2 liters. The engine offers the same power output of 120bhp and a peak torque of 280Nm. It includes a -speed manual gearbox as standard in both the 2WD and 4WD models. There is no change in terms of acceleration, top speed or the fuel economy.

Most notable changes are in design. It comes in the dual-tone color theme where it has white body paint and mist silver plastic cladding. The front and rear bumpers also silver to offer dual-tone outlook. From the inside, the only notable change is the inclusion of dual-tone faux leather seats.

This is not the first time when the company launched limited edition Scorpio. It also introduced the same Adventure Edition of Scorpio back in April 2016.

This car will be competing with Honda BR-V, Renault Duster, Tata Safari Storme, Hyundai Creta and Nissan Terrano.
