Mahindra KUV100 NXT Launched In India At starting price of Rs. 4.39 Lakh

Today Mahindra KUV100 facelift has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 4.39 lakh. The new Mahindra KUV100 NXT comes with five variant options K2, K2+, K4+, K6+, and K8. K8 is the top end variant priced at Rs. 7.33 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the diesel variant. The KUV100 is smallest SUV from Mahindra. The new KUV100 NXT looks more muscular and comes with some interior and mechanical updates.

Exterior:

Exterior design of new KUV100 NXT is almost similar to privious one except few changes. Front and back is restructured which increases length of car by 25 mm. Front and back of new KUV100 NXT is decorated with faux skid plates. The new KUV100 NXT also have new front grille with design elements seen on latest Mahindra models. The new KUV100 NXT comes with black cladding at the bottom and new inserts for the headlamps and clear lens for the tail-lamps. High end variants will come with the 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. The new KUV100 NXT will also come with integrated roof rails and a tailgate spoiler.

Speaking at the launch of the Next Generation KUV100 NXT, Dr Pawan Goenka, Managing Director, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd mentioned, “The KUV100 created a new category with an SUV in the price segment of Rs. 4.5 – Rs. 7.5 lakh. We have always been a listening organisation and in line with that, we have managed to successfully launch the New KUV100 within 21 months. With its unique proposition, I firmly believe that the KUV100 NXT will reaffirm our customers’ faith in Mahindra’s abilities to create class leading products”

Interior:

The cabin is decorated with all new black shades with silver touch for premium feel. The top-end variant comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with audio and navigation support. Unlike the previous model new KUV100 NXT will come with the six seat arrangement. Five seater model would be available on the made-to-order basis.

Features:

The KUV100 NXT comes with remote lock/unlock for the tailgate, drive modes, power folding wing mirrors, a new multi-info display giving readouts for gearshift alert, rear parking sensors and fuel economy. The K8 will come with automatic climate control for the AC. Additional features include driver’s seat height adjust, steering-mounted controls, a cooled glovebox and mood lighting. Safety features include ABS with EBD, dual front airbags and ISOFIX child seat mounts.

Mahindra KUV100 NXT

Engine:

The KUV100 NXT is powered by the same 1.2-litre all-aluminum mFalcon G80 3-cylinder petrol engine and 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged common-rail diesel engine. Petrol engine generates max power of 82bhp and max torque of 114Nm. On the other hand diesel engine produces max power of 77bhp and max torque of 190Nm.
