Today Ford India announced the launch of the 2.2-litre model of the SUV Endeavour with electric panoramic sunroof. The new Endeavour has been launched at a price of Rs. 29.57 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Today launched variant 2.2-litre 4X2 AT Titanium has no cosmetic changes in SUV. Apart from these few changes the new variant is same as other two variants 2.2l 4X2 AT Trend and 3.2l 4X4 AT Titanium.

Commenting on the new feature addition, Vinay Raina, executive director, marketing, sales and service, Ford India, said, “Being the most awarded vehicle in its segment, Ford Endeavour truly surpasses what consumers expect from a premium SUV. The new variant of Ford Endeavour is powered by a 2.2-litre (2,198 cc) four-cylinder TDCi diesel engine which generates a max power of 158 bhp and a peak torque of 385 Nm. The engine of new variant is mated with 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission as standard and comes with front-wheel-drive. The new variant claims fuel economy of 12.62 kmpl.

The SUV comes with a bold front which looks premium. The Endeavour also gets Ford’s signature chrome grille with projector headlamps and LED daytime running lights. Inside the cabin the SUV is decorated with a plush, flexible seating and cargo space of up to 2,010-litres and more than 30 storage spaces. The Ford Endeavour is competing with the likes of the segment-leader Skoda Kodiaq, Toyota Fortuner and the Isuzu MU-X. The SUV Ford Endeavour also synchronized with a eight-inch touchscreen, which allows you to use voice commands to control music, place and receive calls.
