The AMT version of Nexon has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 9.41 lakh for the petrol and Rs 10.3 lakh for the diesel (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Nexon is the first in the compact SUV segment to feature a diesel-automatic combination. Booking has been already started for AMT version of Nexon for an amount of Rs 11,000.<\/p>\n<p>The new XZA+ variant gets the option of a new dual-tone, orange and silver exterior finish. This is the only difference between automatic and manual version.<\/p>\n<p>The Nexon is powered by 1.5-litre, three-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine which generates max power of 110hp and a peak torque of 170Nm and 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine which generates max power of 110hp and a peak torque of 260Nm. Both petrol and diesel option mated with the six-speed automated manual transmission. The automatic gearbox also gets a manual mode which, shifts the engine\u2019s drive mode automatically to Sport. Revotorq series of engines gets multiple drive modes including Eco, City and Sport as standard. The AMT version also gets features like sports hill-assist for ascends and descends and a creep function to help in heavy traffic situations.<\/p>\n<p>The Nexon top-spec XZ+ variant is only available in AMT option. The nexon comes with the features like front fog lamps, 60:40 split folding rear seats, projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, 16-inch alloy wheels shod in 215\/60 tyres, a wearable smart key and a Harman-sourced 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system.<\/p>\n<p>In the compact SUB segment the Nexon is the only diesel-automatic so for diesel variant there is no direct competitors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today Tata has launched the automated manual transmission (AMT) versions of Nexon.
