Bangaluru based Ather Energy has launched two ‘Made in India’ electric scooters in India. These scooter models are Ather 340 and Ather 450. These scooters are now up for pre-order in Bengaluru on Ather\u2019s website and experience centre.<\/p>\n

The company has already placed Ather Grid, charging infrastructure in Bengaluru where you can get fast charging service for your Ather scooters.<\/p>\n

Ather 450 offers top speed of 80 KMph and has a range of 75 KM with a fully charged battery. The quickest acceleration of the scooter is 3.9 seconds to reach from 0 to 40 km\/hr. Ather 340 has range of 60 KM with a full charged battery. It can reach to the top speed of 70 KMph and offers acceleration of 5.1 seconds to reach from 0 to 40 km\/hr.<\/p>\n

Both models feature a 7-inch touchscreen display at dashboard with IP65 ratings for water and dust resistance. You can use it for onboard navigation and check other stats. There is also an Ather app that enables push navigation from the phone to the vehicle dashboard and remote monitoring of the vehicle health and charging.<\/p>\n

\"Ather<\/p>\n

The app can also be used to schedule different services via app. The app will also enable company to send regular OTA updates to scooter.<\/p>\n

Ather electric scooters feature an aluminium and steel hybrid frame which is suspended on a telescopic front fork and a monoshock unit at the rear. It features disc brake on both ends along with a combined braking system (CBS) on both wheels. Both the scooters weigh 118kg (kerb weight).<\/p>\n

It comes with a 3.3kW BLDC motor that can comfortably ride up 18-degree slopes. So, scooter can easily climb steep parking lots, flyovers, and roads. It also has intelligent features like parking assist.<\/p>\n

Ather 450 comes with a 2.4 kWh battery while the 340 comes with 1.92 kWh battery. The battery offers life cycle of 50,000 kms and a life span of 5-6 years.<\/p>\n

Scooters come with Warranty of 2 Years or 30,000km. The company is also offering Warranty of 3 Years on battery.<\/p>\n

Ather 450 is priced at Rs. 1,24,750 on road and the Ather 340 is priced at Rs. 1,09,750 on road. The price includes FAME subsidy at Rs. 22,000, GST, registration card, road tax, smart card fee and insurance. The company is also offering the loan with interest rate of 8.5% with standard EMI.<\/p>\n

Ather 450 comes with a home charging point. The company person will install it at your home or workplace for free.
