The G 310 R is priced at Rs 2.99 lakh while the G310 GS is priced at Rs 3.49 lakh (adventure variant) (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). In terms of size and displacement these are the smallest bikes from BMW. Official bookings for both the bikes opened on June 8, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The BMW Motorrad India had showcased both, the G 310 R and G 310 GS, at the 2018 Auto Expo. The G 310 R had already made an Indian appearance earlier (at Auto Expo 2016). The New BMW G310R is naked streetfighter while the new G310GS is an entry-level adventure bike. Just like the G 310 R the G 310 GS has also been developed by BMW Motorrad in Germany and is built at the TVS plant in Hosur, India near Bengaluru and are already exported to markets worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The G 310 R and G 310 GS come with a reversed cylinder design with a slope towards the rear wheel just simillar to the TVS Apache RR 310. The bikes are powered by a 313cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder unit with four valves and a DOHC cylinder head which generates max power of 34hp and a peak torque of 28Nm. Both the bikes are mated to a six-speed gearbox. Both bikes comes with five-spoke alloy wheels, tubular steel frames and dual-channel ABS. The kerb weights for the G 310 R and G 310 GS are 158.5kg and 169.5kg, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The R variant gets 17-inch front and rear wheels, while the GS (adventure variant) gets a larger 19-inch front wheel and a standard-size 17-inch rear wheel. both bikes gets identical breaks \u2013 a 300mm front disc and 240mm rear disc.<\/p>\n<p>In this price segment the G 310 R is around Rs. 57,000 more expensive than its more-powerful rival, the KTM 390 Duke which comes at price of Rs 2.42 lakh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today BMW Motorrad India has launched its much awaited bikes the BMW G310R and BMW G310GS.
