The Polestar is the first performance vehicle of Volvo in India. It has launched at Rs. 52.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Volvo belongs to Sweden. It brought its first Polestar model in India. Volvo S60 Polestar can attain 0 &#8211; 100km\/h speed in just 4.7 seconds.It comes with Volvo\u2019s specially enhanced version of four cylinder Drive-E engine.<\/p>\n<p>Polestar version of Volvo S60 has reduced weight 24 kg from front axle and total 20 kg from previous version of S60.<\/p>\n<p>Tom von Bonsdorff said \u201dWhile used vastly in different areas, this car shares more than just technology as compared to the track car. The core philosophy is the same, developed by people with the same passion. It produces 367 HP power and 470 Nm torque. The company worked a lot on weight distribution and improves handling.<\/p>\n<p>Henrik Fries, Vice President R&amp;D, Polestar said \u201cAll changes made to the car are about improving drivability and efficiency. The base of the new engine carries motorsport technology with solutions like the combination of turbo and supercharger, lightweight materials and more. This works hand-in-hand with our core philosophy and has enabled us to evolve the Volvo S60 Polestar.\u201d<\/p>\n<h4>Volvo S60 Polestar features:<\/h4>\n<p>In addition to Volvo S60 It has new camshafts, a higher capacity fuel pump, new conrods and a supercharger. Volvo S60 Polestar comes with BorgWarner four-wheel drive system mated to an eight-speed geartronic automatic gearbox.
