Kia\u2019s new compact SUV, the Syros, has made headlines by scoring a 5-star safety rating in the latest Bharat NCAP crash test. This is a big achievement, as it becomes the first made-in-India car to get 5 stars in both Adult and Child Occupant Protection under the Bharat NCAP (BNCAP) norms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adult Occupant Protection (AOP)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Score: 30.21 out of 32 points<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Frontal impact test (at 64 kmph):<\/strong>
    The Syros offered good protection to the driver and passenger\u2019s head and neck.
    Driver\u2019s chest got an adequate rating, while the passenger\u2019s chest was rated good.
