The electric SUV starts at an introductory price of Rs 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). Bookings will begin on July 2, 2025. This is the only car in Tata\u2019s current lineup to offer all-wheel-drive (AWD). It also comes with a dual-motor setup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Variants and Design<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Harrier EV is available in three main variants: Adventure, Fearless, and Empowered. There is also a special Stealth Edition that features a matte black paint job. The overall design is similar to the ICE-powered Harrier, but the EV gets a few changes to make it stand out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the front, it has connected LED DRLs, LED headlights, a blanked-off grille, and a faux silver skid plate. The side profile features new 19-inch alloy wheels with aerodynamic covers and \u201c.ev\u201d badging on the front doors. The rear has connected LED tail lights, a spoiler, and a slightly updated rear skid plate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Harrier EV is offered in five colours:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stealth Black (Stealth Edition only)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nainital Nocturne (Empowered only)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Empowered Oxide (Empowered only)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pure Grey<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pristine White<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It offers a boot space of 502 litres, and depending on the drivetrain, a frunk (front storage) \u2013 67 litres in RWD and 37 litres in AWD versions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interior and Features<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Inside, the Harrier EV gets a white and grey dual-tone cabin. The seats are wrapped in premium leatherette upholstery. It comes with a 14.5-inch QLED touchscreen (from Samsung) and a 10.25-inch digital driver display. The steering wheel features an illuminated Tata logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other features include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Panoramic sunroof<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dual-zone climate control with rear AC vents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Powered and ventilated front seats<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>JBL 10-speaker sound system with Dolby Atmos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wireless charger<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Boss mode for front passenger seat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital key<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Multi-colour ambient lighting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6 terrain modes (Normal, Mud, Rock, Sand, Snow\/Grass, and Custom)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>EV-specific features include V2L (vehicle-to-load), V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle charging), transparent bonnet mode, Boost Mode, and Crawl mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Safety<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Harrier EV comes with a strong safety package. It gets:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>7 airbags (6 as standard)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>360-degree camera with blind-spot monitor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Level 2 ADAS (with adaptive cruise control, driver attention warning, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Auto park assist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>TPMS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Front and rear parking sensors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electronic parking brake with auto hold<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The inside rearview mirror also displays the rear camera feed, which helps in low-visibility conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Battery and Performance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tata Harrier EV is available with two battery pack options: 65 kWh and 75 kWh. It gets up to 2 electric motors with AWD capability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Power (Rear motor)<\/strong>: 238 PS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Power (Front motor)<\/strong>: 158 PS<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Torque<\/strong>: Up to 504 Nm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Range (MIDC Part 1+2)<\/strong>: Up to <strong>627 km<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The EV supports fast charging and can gain up to 250 km of range in just 15 minutes. With Boost Mode enabled, it can do 0-100 kmph in 6.3 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A big highlight is the lifetime battery warranty with unlimited kilometres, which adds great peace of mind for long-term EV buyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rivals<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tata Harrier EV competes with the Mahindra XUV.e9 and can also be seen as an alternative to the BYD Atto 3.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tata Motors has officially launched the much-awaited Harrier EV in India.
