Hyundai has launched a new Corporate variant of the Alcazar diesel, priced at Rs 17.87 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant sits above the Prestige trim and brings the much-awaited panoramic sunroof to the diesel version for the first time. Until now, this feature was only available in turbo-petrol variants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This new Corporate variant also becomes the new entry-level option for buyers who want the diesel-automatic combo. Earlier, this powertrain was only available from the higher Platinum variant, which costs Rs 20.95 lakh. Now with the Corporate trim, the diesel-automatic is more accessible by Rs 1.66 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the same time, Hyundai has added the 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic) to the Prestige turbo-petrol variant. This makes the DCT option more affordable, bringing its price down to Rs 18.64 lakh from the earlier Rs 20.95 lakh, a difference of Rs 2.31 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What Do You Get in the New Variants?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n With the new Corporate variant, Hyundai has finally added a panoramic sunroof to the diesel-powered Alcazar. This was a much-requested feature and adds a more premium feel to the SUV. Both the Corporate and Prestige DCT variants come loaded with premium features. These include a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (with an adapter), dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, ambient lighting, keyless entry with push-button start, LED headlamps, dynamic turn indicators, and 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On the safety front, you get six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and rear parking sensors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Alcazar is offered with two engine choices:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Hyundai Alcazar is priced from Rs 14.99 lakh to Rs 21.74 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with other 3-row SUVs like the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Mahindra XUV700.
