Over 40% of these enquiries came for petrol version of the car. The company is also confident of receiving about 10,000 orders by Diwali.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the bookings,\u00a0<strong>Mr. YK Koo, MD &amp; CEO, HMIL said,<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cWe are overwhelmed with strong customer response and appreciation for the Next Gen Verna within 10 days of its launch. The\u00a0<strong>5th Generation Next Gen Verna<\/strong>\u00a0is a true expression of a super sedan which is Intelligent by Design with Human Technology Connect. It is a Trendsetter and Game changer product creating new benchmarks in its segment exceeding customer aspirations. The Next Gen Verna bookings are almost double of our monthly target, we thank our customers and reaffirm our commitment for an early delivery to the first 10,000 customers before Diwali.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>2017 Hyundai Verna comes with 1.6-litre Dual VTVT petrol or a 1.6 litre CRDi VGT diesel engine. Both models come with Six-speed manual and automatic transmissions.
