Akitoshi Takemura will lead the business as President of the company.\u00a0Arun Nair will oversee operations as Vice President.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the change, Takemura said: \u201cIndia is an extremely important market for Lexus. Today\u2019s announcement of a new and independent organisational structure is a signal that we intend to build a business that continues to drive growth not only in India, but with India and for India.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLexus India\u2019s independence as a business organization will enable the brand to build its presence as a luxury lifestyle brand and to position for growth in India, one of the world\u2019s fastest growing economies,\u201d the company said.<\/p>\n<p>Toyota introduced Lexus brand in Indian market back in March this year. It launched three models including one Sedan and two SUVs. These vehicles were <a href=\"http:\/\/wheelyard.com\/cars\/lexus-es\/\">ES300h<\/a> sedan and crossover SUV <a href=\"http:\/\/wheelyard.com\/cars\/lexus-rx\/\">RX450h<\/a> &amp; <a href=\"http:\/\/wheelyard.com\/cars\/lexus-lx\/\">LX450d<\/a>.
