It is expected that launch of Renault captur would happen in next month.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the unveiling, Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO &amp; MD, Renault India Operations, said, \u201cOur growth strategy hinges strongly on launching products that cater to the volume and growing segments of the Indian automotive industry, representing evolving customer preferences.Over the last few years, SUV sales are growing exponentially, making it the fastest growing segment in India.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Renault Captur is a globally successful premium SUV and is widely acclaimed for its stunning expressive design, premium and class-leading features and the high levels of personalisation that can be achieved with this car. Renault Captur will further strengthen our position in the fast-growing SUV segment and will set new benchmarks with its global styling and unmatched road presence.,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Company says over the past 5 years, <a href=\"http:\/\/wheelyard.com\/cars\/renault-cars\/\">Renault <\/a>has taken significant steps to grow its presence in India.Company is taking big steps enabled by a progressive strategy across its corporate, product and network fronts.<\/p>\n<p>Renault Captur will come with both petrol and diesel engine. petrol variants will be powered by a 4-cylinder, 1.5-litre engine mated with a five-speed manual transmission. The engine generates max power of 106PS at 5,600rpm and 142Nm of torque at 4,000rpm.
