Today the Renault India has launched its much awaited compact SUV The Renault Captur. The Renault Captur has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In Europe Renault Captur has already launched but The Indian version of Renault Captur gets lot of changes to keep it new. The Captur is second compact SUV from Renault in India after Duster. The Captur build at the same platform of Duster. Both SUV are based on well known MO platform. The Renault Captur gets many additional features compared to Duster.<\/p>\n

Engine:<\/h3>\n

The Renault Captur comes with both diesel and petrol engine. The Renault Captur powered by 1.5-litre K9k diesel engine that generates max power of 108 bhp at 4000 rpm and peak torque of 240 Nm at 1750 rpm. The 1.5-litre petrol generates max power of 104 bhp at 5600 rpm and 142 Nm of peak torque at 4000 rpm. Both the engines are mated with a 6-speed manual transmission. automatic or AWD options are not available for now but we can expect in future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Renault Captur is a bit longer but narrower than Duster. The ground clearance is quite impressive 210 mm, much better than the competition. The Captur comes with full LED headlamps with the dynamic LED turn indicators. It also gets C-shaped LED DRLs integrated into the bumper, while the all-LED wraparound taillights get some neat detailing. Top variant comes with 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
