<\/p>\nHonda has revealed the fifth generation Honda CR-V at Auto Expo 2018. The new model of SUV comes with a 1.6-litre turbocharged diesel engine. It also gets an extra pair of seats to become a seven-seat SUV now. So, we can expect a price hike and it is expected to be priced in between Rs 26-32 lakh.<\/p>\n
2018 Honda CR-V will be powered by the 1.6-litre Earth Dreams series engine of the Honda. This is a 4-cylinder twin-turbocharged engine that generates max power of 160PS and 350Nm of peak torque.<\/p>\n
The All-wheel-drive (AWD) will be offered as optional. The transmission will be handled by a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed ZF automatic gearbox.<\/p>\n
There are lots of changes in exteriors as it comes with new LED headlights and fog lamps. The car is now based on same platform as the new Civic. It has thick C-pillars with chrome window line look neat from the sides. The highlights of the rear are split tail lamps with crystal LED lights. It has Dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels.<\/p>\n

If you compare the new model with existing Honda CR-V model, the new model is 26 mm longer in length, 65 mm wider in width but hight is 20 mm less. The wheelbase is also 42 mm longer to be of 2662 mm. The wider width means more space and dip in height will improve the stability on the road.<\/p>\n
It also comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display that supports navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with voice commands. It also has power adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control and one-touch power moonroof.<\/p>\n
