The 2018 Honda Jazz facelift has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 7.35 lakh for the base variant v petrol. The price goes up to Rs. 9.29 lakh for the top-end VX diesel trim (all ex-showroom, Delhi). The Honda removed the base variants E and S from the petrol line up and the E variant has been removed from diesel lineup. The Jazz 2018 is now available in four petrol variants and 3 diesel variants.

Rajesh Goel, Sr. Vice President and Director, Sales & Marketing, Honda Cars India said, “In line with changing customer preferences in favour of automatics, the Jazz 2018 is now being offered with advanced CVT technology across the petrol range to cater to larger number of customers opting for automatic transmission cars for an absolutely comfortable and engaging drive.”
The 2018 Honda Jazz facelift gets updated taillamps featuring LED wing lights, new chrome door handles (top-end VX variant) on the exterior front. It comes in two new body color options – Radiant Red Metallic, and Lunar Silver Metallic. It also retain the previous color options including Modern Steel Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic and White Orchid Pearl.
In side the cabin design remains unchanged, however, the cabin is now a lot more equipped than the previous model. In terms of update it gets the Digipad 2.0, Honda’s new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The ANV (Audio, Video and Navigation) system also offers Bluetooth connectivity and display for the reverse camera. It also gets rear parking sensor, speed sensing auto door lock, Front center armrest. Few features only available in the diesel or CVT petrol variants like Honda smart key with keyless remote, cruise control and push button start/stop.
The Honda Jazz facelift is powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. The petrol version generates max power of 89 bhp and a peak torque of 110 Nm while the diesel engine generates max power of 99 bhp and a peak torque of 200 Nm. Petrol engine is mated with a 5-speed manual and an optional CVT automatic transmission, while the diesel model only gets a 5-speed manual gearbox.
