Design: A New Identity for the Venue

The 2025 Hyundai Venue has been completely redesigned. It now looks more premium and resembles a mix of the Creta, Alcazar, and Exter. The SUV has grown bigger, with a 48mm increase in height and 30mm increase in width. The wheelbase is longer by 20mm, which should make the cabin more spacious.

The connected LED tail lamps look sleek and modern, especially at night. The overall stance gives it a stronger road presence. The blue shade looks particularly attractive, though Hyundai offers multiple color options.

Interiors and Features: Tech and Comfort Upgrade

Inside, the Venue feels much more upmarket than before. It gets a lighter color theme, which makes the cabin feel airy and spacious. Some of the unique design touches include:

  • Hyundai logo in Morse code on the steering wheel
  • Venue branding on the dashboard
  • Diffused white ambient lighting

It also gets twin 12.3-inch displays, one for the infotainment system and another for the digital instrument cluster. The interface is new and has a premium, BMW-like feel. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are finally available.

The 8-speaker Bose sound system promises an immersive audio experience. Other features include:

  • 360-degree camera with lane-change view
  • 4-way powered driver’s seat
  • Wireless phone charger
  • Auto-dimming IRVM
  • Automatic climate control
  • Rear AC vents
  • Push-button start/stop

However, the small sunroof might disappoint some buyers, especially when rivals like the Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV 3XO offer panoramic options.

Engine and Performance

Hyundai offers three engine options for the 2025 Venue, catering to different driving preferences.

A major highlight is the diesel-automatic combination. It is being offered for the first time in the Venue lineup. This will appeal to high-mileage users looking for convenience. Hyundai has not added a CVT option with the non-turbo petrol engine, which is available in the i20.

If you prefer sportier styling and tuned performance, the Venue N Line could be worth considering.

Safety: A Big Step Forward

Safety has been a key focus area for Hyundai in this update. The 2025 Venue uses more high-strength steel for a stronger body structure. It includes:

  • 6 airbags
  • ABS with EBD
  • Electronic Stability Control
  • Hill Assist Control
  • Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

The top variants also get Level 2 ADAS features, including Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Although the Venue has not been crash-tested yet, expectations are high since its platform sibling, the Kia Syros, recently achieved a 5-star safety rating. We can expect the same from the Venue.

Should You Buy the 2025 Hyundai Venue?

The new Hyundai Venue is a major step forward in design, technology, and comfort. It looks more premium, offers better space, and comes loaded with features. The addition of diesel-automatic and ADAS makes it even more appealing.

If you want a compact SUV that combines technology, refinement, and practicality, the new Venue is a strong contender. Hyundai has not revealed a specific launch offer yet, but bookings are open at dealerships and online.

We will soon share our detailed driving impressions and real-world performance review, so stay tuned. For now, the 2025 Venue looks like one of the most well-rounded compact SUVs in India’s market.

The 2025 Hyundai Venue will be competing against Kia Syros, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, and Skoda Kylaq.
