Maruti Suzuki has officially launched the 2026 Brezza facelift in India. This is the first major update for the second-generation Brezza since its debut in 2022. While the SUV gets only minor design changes, it comes with a new turbo-petrol engine, more features, updated safety technology, and a lower starting price.

The 2026 Maruti Brezza is available in four variants: LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI Plus. Prices start at Rs. 7.40 lakh (ex-showroom).

2026 Maruti Brezza gets subtle design updates

The facelift keeps the familiar boxy design of the Brezza but adds a few styling changes for a fresher look. The SUV measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width, 1,685 mm in height, and has a 2,500 mm wheelbase.

At the front, the SUV gets a revised chrome grille, redesigned bumper, triangular fog lamp housings, and a larger silver skid plate. The side profile remains largely unchanged, although it now features newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels.

At the rear, the only noticeable update is a revised bumper with a larger silver skid plate.

Maruti also offers the Brezza in seven color options, including two new shades: Vivacious Orange and Lustrous Beige. Select variants are also available with dual-tone paint featuring a black roof.

Cabin gets new materials and more features

Inside, the dashboard layout remains familiar, but Maruti has added several updates to improve the overall experience.

The cabin now gets brown leatherette seats, a redesigned climate control panel, gloss black steering wheel accents, a sliding front armrest with storage, a cooled glovebox, and winged rear headrests.

The infotainment system has been upgraded to a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen. Other features include:

  • Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
  • Wireless phone charger
  • Single-pane sunroof
  • Automatic climate control
  • Head-up display
  • Connected car technology
  • ARKAMYS 6-speaker sound system
  • Cruise control
  • Ventilated front seats
  • 64-color ambient lighting
  • PM 2.5 air filter with AQI display

Safety gets ADAS upgrades

The Brezza continues to offer six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Hold Assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera.

The facelift also introduces several new safety features, including:

  • Front parking sensors
  • Blind Spot Warning
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert
  • Safe Exit Warning
  • Emergency Stop Signal
  • Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

The SUV has also received a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating.

New turbo-petrol engine joins the lineup

The biggest upgrade is the addition of a new 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology.

The engine lineup now includes:

  • Petrol MT: Up to 21.09 kmpl
  • Petrol AT: Up to 20.17 kmpl
  • CNG: 26.90 km/kg

With the new turbo-petrol engine falling into a lower GST bracket, Maruti has managed to bring down the entry price of the Brezza significantly compared to the pre-facelift model. The combination of improved performance, additional features, and enhanced safety makes the 2026 Brezza a stronger competitor in the compact SUV segment.
