Datsun redi-GO 1.0-Litre Launched In India: Priced At Rs 3.57 Lakh
The Nissan Motor India has launched Datsun redi-GO 1.0-Litre version in India. The Datsun redi-GO (1-litre) model is only available in two variants – redi-GO T(O) and the redi-GO S. It will be sold at the flagship models in the redi-GO line-up. It is priced at Rs. 3.57 lakh to Rs. 3.72 lakh. This new variant of Datsun redi-GO delivers a fuel efficiency of 22.5 km per liter.
Arun Malhotra, managing director of Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. said, “Datsun is a challenger brand and we have been working hard for three years now to bring products that people want and desire. In that spirit, building on the successful launch of redi-GO last year, Datsun now offers a more powerful driving experience with the redi-GO 1.0L. It brings more power, style and convenience for our customers, and we are delighted to launch it today.”
The latest variant of the car with a new engine has been launched after a year of its base 800cc variant was first put on sale in the Indian Market. Design and body of Datsun redi-GO 1.0L is same as previous base 800cc variant.
Engine:
The new variants of Datsun redi-GO comes with 1.0L 3-cylinder petrol Engine which produces Max Power of 67 bhp and Max Torque of 91 Nm. It comes with 5-speed manual Gearbox. It delivers 22.5 kmpl mileage. The new variants of Datsun redi-GO delivers slightly better mileage of 22.5 kmpl, compared to the Kwid 1.0L. AMT gearbox is not available with Datsun redi-GO.

Design:
In terms of design and styling, the new Datsun redi-GO 1.0L remains exactly same as its previous variants. It comes with the same sharp design with bold lines and a muscular stance. The car comes with the same bumper-mounted LED daytime running lights and halogen headlamps. You can see few changes inside the cabin like – all-black interior with red accents on the seats, silver finish on the AC vents,new premium fabric upholstery, and the horn pad.
