The UK based electric bike maker GoZero Mobility has launched electric bikes in India. These bikes have been launched at a starting price of Rs. 29,999 and goes up to Rs. 32,999. Electric mobility market is growing in India at a fast pace and the credit goes to electric scooters. The other manufacturers are feeling a high potential in the market. GoZero Mobility has started its operations in India with two new products. It has launched the GoZero Mile and GoZero one electric bike.
The GoZero Mile is a daily utility commute bike which is powered by a 300 Wh battery which gives it a driving range of 45 kms. GoZero one has been launched for the purpose of trekking and off-road biking. GoZero one is powered by 400 Wh battery which gives it a range of 60 km with a single charge. The GoZero one comes with fatter rubber with slightly more profiling and a tweaked front shock absorber. The Mile comes with three paddle assist modes while the One comes with five paddle assist modes. Both the bikes get cruise control, display screen, and disc brakes. In both the bikes you can take out the battery to plug it into the regular power sockets. It takes around 2.5 hours for a full charge.
The primary target of the company is establish in metro cities then will also expand to smaller cities in India. The company will open 80 dealerships in the country in the next three years along with 18 experience centers across the country. GoZero has partnered with Kolkata based company Kirti Solar for the local manufacturing of its products. It will be launching three more products this year. The upcoming products of GoZero will be designed for food delivery and could be used by online food vendors such as Swiggy and Zomato.
