Honda has added a new member in Activa family of scooters. The company has launched Activa 5G in India for the price tag of Rs 54,325 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Honda has started taking bookings of this scooter and delivers will start soon. It was unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo.

The basic styling of the scooter remains the same. It retains the conventional design with minor changes including chrome garnishes on the front apron and 3D badges. It comes in eight paint options including Yellow, Brown, Grey, Black, Silver, White, Red and Blue.

Honda Activa 5G features a LED headlamps along with a position lights. It sports same digital-analogue speedometer that we saw in 4G model. The company has added a new service due indicator. There is also an ECO mode that allows riders to track fuel efficiency.

The seat lock-unlock feature is now integrated into the scooter’s ignition key slot, It also got a new double hook to secure more luggage on the footboard.

It has 109.12cc four strokes, fan-cooled engine that can produce maximum power of 8 Bhp at 7500 rpm with 9 Nm of peak torque at 5500 rpm. It has leading link suspension for the front wheel and monoshock suspension for the rear. Both the wheels got drum brakes and feature a combi-braking system.

Activa 5G has 5.3-liter of fuel tank capacity and Honda promises 60+ kmpl mileage.

It bears 18 litres of storage under the seat. It also gets a new mobile charging socket facility at under seat storage.
