Honda Car India is back in the spotlight with its April 2025 deals, offering some tempting discounts across its lineup. Leading the charge is the Honda Elevate, which now comes with discounts of up to ₹76,000 on the ZX variant. The newly launched Apex Edition also gets a respectable ₹56,100 off. Thanks to these price cuts, the Elevate now starts at an ex-showroom price of ₹11.91 lakh, making it even more appealing to SUV buyers in the market.

That is not all—Honda has extended these benefits to other models too. The Honda City gets a discount of ₹63,300 across the SV, V, VX, and ZX variants, dropping the entry price to ₹12.28 lakh. The City e:HEV, known for its hybrid efficiency, receives a ₹65,000 cut on the top-end ZX variant. Meanwhile, the second-gen Amaze S variant gets a price slash of ₹57,200, making it now available from ₹7.63 lakh (ex-showroom).

Despite achieving a 20% growth in total sales in 2024, Honda Cars India faced a significant challenge in the domestic market. While the company sold 1,31,871 units in 2024, domestic sales declined by 18.55% compared to the previous year, dropping to 68,650 units from 84,289 units in 2023. This decline was offset by a surge in exports, which more than doubled to 63,221 units in 2024, largely driven by the strong international demand for the Honda Elevate.

The domestic slowdown can be attributed to several factors, including increased competition in the compact SUV segment and changing consumer preferences. By offering substantial discounts, Honda aims to rejuvenate domestic demand, clear existing inventory, and maintain its market presence amidst stiff competition.
