Hyundai Unveiled BlueLink Connected Car Technology In India

Today Hyundai Motor India Ltd Unveiled the Global ‘Blue Link’ Car Connected Technology and Beyond. The Hyundai Venue is going to be the first connected car in the Indian automotive space. The Korean carmaker Hyundai has demonstrated the BlueLink technology which is an operating system to provide the connected services.

The BlueLink technology has been developed by Hyundai and is already in use in the global markets for the last 10 years. The company also showcased various pan India initiatives across Sales, Service and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for the seamless rollout of Hyundai Blue Link Connectivity.

The Hyundai Blue Link is Hyundai’s global technology based on the theme – Your Connected Friend on the Go and will be introduced in the Indian market with the upcoming Hyundai VENUE- India’s First Smart Connected SUV.

Speaking at the Blue Link technology demonstration, Mr. Puneet Anand, Sr. General Manager, Marketing, Hyundai Motor India said, “We are extremely delighted to share that the Blue Link Connectivity Solutions will debut in the Hyundai VENUE, making it India’s first Smart Connected SUV. The Blue Link Connectivity will be the most practical, concrete and convenient technology available in the Indian market to make the customer’s life easy. We have undertaken all the measures across all our touch points to ensure that our customers can get a firsthand experience of the Blue Link Connectivity. Our team of Blue Link Wizards & trained sales consultants will make the technology truly accessible to all our customers. The connected car technology is built on the theme of – Your Connected Friend On The Go and will help us realize our vision of becoming Lifetime Partners in Automobile and Beyond.”

Hyundai Blue Link will consist of 33 features out of which 10 exclusive features are India specific ensuring the most practical and holistic connectivity with Safety, Convenience and various Vehicle Management Relationship Services.

Hyundai is actively training a team of over 650 Blue Link Wizards who would be specialists in their field and who in turn will train over 10,000 Sales Consultants across the wide network of Hyundai dealership and service touch points. These specialists will be able to handle any query related to the new technology. Among many firsts in the industry, Hyundai will install Blue Link Simulation app across dealerships to give their customers a connected in-car experience. This will enable the customers to have a firsthand feel of the technology.
