New Mercedes-Benz E-Class has been launched in India with long wheel base and right hand drive. The new E-Class will be available in India with two models – E 200 (petrol) and E 350 d (diesel). E 200 (petrol) will be priced at Rs. 56.15 lakh and E 350 d (diesel) will be priced at Rs 69.47 lakh.

Engine 

New Mercedes-Benz E-Class comes with two engine variants.  four-cylinder, 2.0-litre petrol engine produces 187PS power and 300Nm torque. This engine attains speed from 0-100kmph in 8.5 seconds which is a bit slower than previous E-class. The E 350 d’s 3.0-litre diesel engine produces power 262PS and torque 620Nm. This engine attains speed from 0-100kmph in 6.6 seconds. new E-Class comes with 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission with rear wheel drivetrain.

New Mercedes-Benz E-Class is equipped with lots of latest features:

Panoramic sunroof, Motorized sunblinds, 64-colour ambient lighting provides stunning feel while driving.

First time it is packed with touch-sensitive controls on the steering wheel. You can operate 12.3-inch infotainment screen via touchpad. Other features are,    13-speaker sound system, full-LED headlights, air-suspension and electrically-adjustable rear seats.

Design and look

Look and feel resembles with S-class but 3,079 mm wheelbase makes robust on Indian roads. It will be available in Obsidian Black, Iridium Silver, Citrine Brown, Selenite Grey and Polar White colour options.
