Hyundai Motor India has officially confirmed to receive over 7000 bookings of its new 2017 Hyundai Verna. Hyundai Verna 2017 was launched recently on August 22, 2017, and pre-booking of the car began August 4, 2017.
The company also claims to receive over 70,000 enquiries about this car. Over 40% of these enquiries came for petrol version of the car. The company is also confident of receiving about 10,000 orders by Diwali.

2017 Hyundai Verna comes with 1.6-litre Dual VTVT petrol or a 1.6 litre CRDi VGT diesel engine. Both models come with Six-speed manual and automatic transmissions. This car is built on the lighter and more rigid K2 platform that is also used in Elantra.

The car was launched for an introductory price of Rs. 7.99 lakh to Rs. 12.61 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It competes with rivals like Maruti Ciaz, Honda City, Skoda Rapid and Volkswagen Vento.
