Ducati has launched its new Ducati Scrambler 1100 motorbike in India at Rs. 10.91 Lakh. There are also two higher specs models Sport and Special priced at Rs. 11.42 lakh and Rs. 11.12 lakh respectively. Bookings had already begun starting first week of the August 2018.
The new 2018 Ducati Scrambler 1100 is powered by 1079cc L-Twin engine that is capable of producing 86 Hp at 7,600 rpm and 88 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The motorbike comes with three riding modes: Active, Touring and City. Th Active delivers the full 85bhp power with aggressive throttle response, Journey mode delivers 85bhp but with smooth throttle response and City mode offers 75bhp with smooth power delivery. It also gets five level traction control along with ride by wire.
It gets fully-adjustable 45mm Marzocchi upside-down forks from Marzocchi that are fully-adjustable and adjustable monoshock from KYB at the rear.
It has Bosch cornering ABS, big piston brake pads and adjustable brake & clutch levers.
All three variants are identical in terms of engine specs. The standard model is available in two colours – yellow and black. The Sport model is only available single satin black colour while the Special model gets grey color with brushed aluminium finish on the front mudguard and swingarm, and a brown seat.
It will directly compete with Triumph Street Triple RS or Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster.
