Today Hyundai has launched the facelift of its popular SUV Creta. The facelift of Hyundai Creta has been launched at starting price of Rs. 9.44 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new creta is available in five varaints three engine options. The top varaint of Creta SX (O) MT diesel is priced at Rs. 15.04 lakh.
The new creta gets a new black chin, new chrome-lined hexagonal grille, a slightly tweaked rear bumper and a thick new front bumper with separate housings for the front fog lamps. The new Creta comes with both options a dual-tone exterior finish and monotone finishes. It also gets cruise control, 17-inch alloy wheels, the AVN infotainment system with an IPS display and projector headlamps. A powered sunroof, six-way adjustable powered driver’s seat, a smart key band, wireless charging support and six airbags will be available in top end variant. Single-tone options include silver, white, black, blue red and orange, while the dual-tone options are white with black, and orange with black.
Inside the cabin almost all interior remain unchanged including dashboard. Hyundai has updated kit for all variants. All variants comes with safety features like dual-front airbags and ABS. The kit is updated with driver’s seat height adjust and a front sliding armrest.
Under the hood engine options are unchanged. The new creta comes with 1.4-litre diesel, 1.6-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel engines. 1.4-litre diesel engine generates max power of 90bhp, 1.6-litre petrol engine generates max power of 123bhp while 1.6-litre diesel generates max power of 128bhp. The 1.4 diesel is mated only to a six-speed manual transmission while the 1.6-litre engines get the option of a six-speed torque-converter automatic transmission.
The new facelifted Creta will compete with the Maruti S-cross (Rs 8.62-11.33 lakh), Renault Captur (Rs 9.99-14.07 lakh) and Honda BR-V (Rs 9.21-13.39 lakh).
