Finally the much awaited Maruti Suzuki Swift has been launched at Auto Expo 2018. The new Swift has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 4.99 lakh and goes up to Rs. 7.96 lakh for top end variant (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The new Maruti Suzuki Swift will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The new Swift also comes with the automatic option with diesel and petrol engine option. Deliveries for the new Swift will start later this month.

The all-new Maruti Suzuki Swift is build on the modern and lighter Heartect platform. The car comes with a new chassis which makes the base of car more stronger and rigid. The new Maruti Suzuki Swift gets a completely new design with a large grille up front. It also gets bug-like headlamps with projector lens and LED DRLs on the top variants. The car also gets LED taillights and diamond cut alloy wheels.

The all-new Maruti Suzuki Swift comes with 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine which generates max power of 82 bhp and a peak torque of 113Nm while 1.3-litre DDiS diesel generates max power of 74 bhp and a peak torque of 190 Nm.

Inside the cabin the all-new Maruti Suzuki Swift gets a better quality interior. The flat-bottom steering wheel gives a sporty touch and the dual-pod instrument cluster looks premium. The all-new Maruti Suzuki Swift also gets with the SmartPlay infotainment system which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets Auto climate control on the top variants. Both engines are paired to a 5-speed manual transmission and an automated manual transmission (AMT).
