A few days ago, Kia unveiled the Carens Clavis, a new and updated version of the Carens MPV. The company will announce its price on May 23. For now, we have the official fuel efficiency details.

Pre-bookings are already open at Kia dealerships and on the Kia website. You can book the car by paying ₹25,000. The Carens Clavis will come in seven variants — HTE, HTE(O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+(O), HTX, and HTX+. It will be available in both six-seat and seven-seat layouts. The six-seat version will only be available in the top HTX+ variant.

Carens Clavis Mileage

Kia has shared the mileage figures for the Carens Clavis. Since it uses the same engines as the regular Carens, the mileage is also similar — between 15.34 kmpl and 19.54 kmpl.

The diesel manual version gives the best mileage at 19.54 kmpl. The diesel automatic is next at 17.50 kmpl. The turbo petrol with DCT gives 16.66 kmpl. Both the turbo petrol manual and iMT versions offer 15.95 kmpl. The lowest mileage comes from the normal petrol manual, which gives 15.34 kmpl.

Engine and Gearbox Options

The Carens Clavis comes with the same engine and gearbox options as the current Carens. These include:
