The Maruti Suzuki is ready to take advantage of festive season and has launched first special edition version of the Maruti Suzuki Swift. The Maruti Suzuki Swift Limited Edition has been launched at price of 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is exclusively available on the base LXi and LDi trim. There is no raise in price while added new features to the base trim of the hatchback.

The new Maruti Suzuki Swift Limited Edition comes with a host of new features including black painted wheel covers and singe-DIN Blue Bluetooth stereo with two speakers. The Swift L trim comes with the features: front power windows, ABS, dual front airbags and rear parking sensors as part of standard kit. The new variant comes with the same engine and there is no mechanical changes.

It is powered by the 1.2-litre petrol engine which generates max power of 82 bhp and 1.3-litre diesel generates max power of 74 bhp. The base variant is only offered with a 5-speed manual while the AMT unit is available on the mid-level V and range-topping Z trims.

The Maruti Suzuki Swift is one of the top selling model of company just after the Alto and Dzire. The company sell around 19,000 units of the Swift every month and the new variant is an attractive package for new customers. For now the Swift is competing with the Hyundai Grand i10, Ford Figo, Toyota Etios and Mahindra KUV100.
