Tata Motors is all set to launch the Tata Harrier EV in India on June 3. This will be Tata’s new flagship electric vehicle, replacing the Curvv EV. The Harrier EV has already been showcased a few times, with the latest version shown at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.

While Tata has not officially shared full details about the electric powertrain, they have confirmed one major thing. The Harrier EV will offer a range of around 500 km on a single charge. This will make it one of the longest-range electric SUVs in its segment.

Another big highlight is that this will be Tata’s first electric SUV with a 4WD system. It features a dual-motor setup where one motor is for the front wheels and one for the rear. So, the Harrier EV will offer better performance and off-road capability.

The design of the Harrier EV is expected to be quite similar to the diesel Harrier facelift that we saw at the Auto Expo. It will have a Vertical LED headlights placed below blade-like DRLs and a full-width LED light bar at the front. There will also be Flared wheel arches and a bold, rising window line, and a floating roof design with a blacked-out D-pillar. At the rear, it features another connected light bar and vertical fog lamps on the bumper.

Just like the Curvv EV and Nexon EV, the Harrier EV will also come loaded with smart and practical features. It will offer V2L and V2X. So, you can use the Harrier EV to charge other devices or even power other electric vehicles. It will also offer the self-parking feature that lets the car move in and out of tight parking spaces automatically.

The Harrier EV is expected to come with Level 2 ADAS, which includes features like lane assist, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, and more.

Tata Motors already dominates the electric car market in India with popular models like the Tiago EV, Tigor EV, Nexon EV, Curvv EV, and Punch EV. With the Harrier EV, Tata is brining an EV in a the premium electric SUV segment.

The Harrier EV is expected to be priced between ₹24 lakh to ₹30 lakh (ex-showroom). This pricing puts it up against other upcoming and existing EVs such as: Hyundai Creta EV, MG ZS EV, Kia Carens EV, and Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara.
