TVS has added a new variant to its iQube electric scooter lineup. The new model, called the TVS iQube 3.1, is priced at ₹1.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) and comes with a 3.1kWh battery. With this, the iQube family now offers six different variants. It gives buyers more options based on their needs and budget.
The iQube 3.1 offers a claimed IDC range of 121km and a top speed of 82kph. It uses the same Bosch-sourced hub motor seen in other iQube variants. Interestingly, its top speed matches that of the higher-end ST models, even though this version is priced lower. It also weighs 116.8 kg, making it lighter than all other variants except the base iQube 2.2.
While TVS has not revealed the exact charging time for the 3.1 yet, we can expect it to fall between the iQube 2.2 (which takes 2 hours 45 minutes) and the 3.5 (which takes 4 hours 30 minutes) to charge from 0 to 80 percent. The 3.1 model balances performance and practicality, offering a decent range without taking too long to charge.
The iQube 3.1 shares many features with the iQube 3.5. It gets a 32-litre underseat boot, colour TFT display, front disc brake, and even a pillion backrest for added comfort. It is also available in five colour options, including two dual-tone variants: white, brown, grey, copper/beige, and blue/beige.
At ₹1.10 lakh, the iQube 3.1 sits comfortably between the base iQube 2.2 (₹1.01 lakh) and the iQube 3.5 (₹1.23 lakh). It fills the gap well and offers strong value for riders looking for a mix of range, speed, and modern features. The launch also comes shortly after rival Bajaj Chetak introduced a new variant, showing how the electric scooter segment is heating up.
