Piaggio India has launched the Vespa Notte 125 special edition scooter in India. The Vespa Notte 125 has been launched at introductory price of Rs. 68,645. The special edition of Vespa Notte 125 gets a complete black treatment and looks different from other Vespa models. The world “Notte” has been taken from Italian vocabulary and its meaning is “night”.

Commenting on this launch, Piaggio India – CEO and MD Piaggio India Diego Graffi said, “Piaggio is delighted to launch the special edition Vespa Notte 125 cc in India. The elegance of the brand is carried ahead by the all black theme; it reflects and echoes the spirit of life and freedom and will win the hearts of our Vespa fans.”

The Vespa Notte is powered by the same 125 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which generates max power of 10 bhp and a peak torque of 10.6 Nm. The engine is mated with a CVT unit. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and a single shock at the rear.

The Vespa Notte completely finished in matte black color and comes with black grab rails, black mirrors and 11-inch black wheels. The new Vespa Notte comes with an affordable pricing and missed out the front disc brakes and tubeless tyres.

Bookings for the Vespa Notte 125 has been started last month itself. It will compete with the rivals including the TVS NTorq, Honda Grazia, Suzuki Burgman Street, Aprlia SR125.
