Today Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) has launched the 5th generation Hyundai Verna (2017). Hyundai Verna (2017) has launched at starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The Hyundai has already sold more than 8.8 million units of the Hyundai Verna (2017) globally. In India Hyundai Verna would provide a healthy competition to Maruti Ciaz, Honda City, Volkswagen Vento and Skoda Rapid.

Engine:

The new Hyundai Verna (2017) comes with a 1.6-litre petrol engine and a 1.6-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine generates max power of 123PS at 6400rpm and max torque of 151Nm at 4850rpm. The diesel engine generates max power of 128PS at 4000rpm and max torque of 260Nm at 1500rpm all the way up to 3000rpm. Both engines are mated with 6 speed manual transmission.

Design and Features:

The new Hyundai Verna (2017) is much different from previous one. It has a lot of new features and changes in design from inside and out. There is much better space in cabin specially at rear. The exterior is based on Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design. The new design looks modern and stylish. The new Hyundai Verna (2017) comes with a full pack of six airbags to ventilated seats and electric sunroof. Smartphones can be connected through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
