Toyota has launched the 2026 Glanza facelift in India, bringing updated styling, new features and a new petrol engine to its premium hatchback. The updated model follows the recent facelift of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, on which the Glanza is based. It retains most of the existing design but gets a few changes to the exterior, cabin and safety equipment.

The 2026 Toyota Glanza is available in five variants, with prices starting at Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is offered with petrol and CNG powertrains, along with manual and AMT gearbox options.

Toyota is offering the new Glanza in five variants: E, S, G, V and V(O). The entry-level E variant is available only with a manual gearbox, while the higher variants get additional transmission and CNG options.

Bookings for the new Glanza are open for Rs 11,000, while deliveries are scheduled to begin next week. The CNG option is limited to the S and G variants.

2026 Toyota Glanza Facelift Design

The biggest design changes on the new Glanza are at the front. It gets a revised front fascia with a larger honeycomb grille, a chrome strip above it and a Toyota logo positioned between the two. The front bumper has also been updated with sharper styling and silver accents.

The side profile remains largely unchanged, retaining the familiar shape shared with the Baleno. However, Toyota has added a chrome garnish on the front fender and a shark-fin antenna. The hatchback continues to ride on 16-inch alloy wheels.

At the rear, the Glanza retains the same C-shaped LED taillamps, chunky bumper and chrome strip on the tailgate. Overall, the facelift brings a sharper front-end design without making major changes to the rest of the car.

The 2026 Toyota Glanza facelift is available in seven colour options:

Interior and Boot Space

The cabin of the updated Glanza remains largely unchanged. It continues to feature a dual-tone beige and black interior, which gives it a different look from the Baleno’s black and blue cabin.

The dashboard retains the free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, a three-spoke steering wheel and gloss-black inserts. One notable addition is an adjustable headrest for the middle rear passenger. Rear AC vents and USB charging ports are also available.

The petrol version offers 318 litres of boot space. Toyota has not disclosed the boot capacity of the CNG version, but the cylinder is expected to take up a significant portion of the luggage area.

Features and Safety

Toyota has added several features to the Glanza facelift, including ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger and a Clarion sound system. These additions bring it closer to the recently updated Baleno. Other features include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a head-up display, automatic climate control, a height-adjustable driver’s seat and automatic headlamps.

The safety package has also received an upgrade with the addition of Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

The Glanza continues to offer a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-hold assist and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

The updated Glanza has not yet been crash-tested by Bharat NCAP. However, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, on which it is based, previously received a four-star safety rating from the agency.

2026 Toyota Glanza Facelift Engine and Mileage

The biggest mechanical change is the introduction of a new 1.2-litre Z-series naturally aspirated petrol engine. It replaces the older K-series engine and is available with both manual and AMT gearboxes.

The petrol engine produces 83 PS and 112 Nm of torque, while the CNG version delivers 70 PS and 102 Nm. The claimed fuel efficiency figures are based on ARAI testing.

The 2026 Toyota Glanza facelift builds on an already practical premium hatchback with updated styling, additional features and a new petrol engine. The addition of Level 2 ADAS and ventilated front seats also makes the package more appealing.
