Today in India newest automobile manufacturer Kia Motors officially Debut With SP SUV Concept at Auto Expo 2018. The Kia SP Concept is an powerful SUV which is almost similar to the Hyundai Creta in size. The Kia SP has been developed on the same platform and get the same internal bits as Hyundai. It is expected that the production of the Kia SP Concept will start next year in mid-2019.

Peter Schreyer, Chief Design Officer of Kia Motors Corporation, commented, “Over the last few years, SUVs have become the vehicle-of-choice among Indian buyers. Combining the comfort and space of a sedan with the ability to tackle all kinds of terrain, we intend to storm the market with an SUV that will set new parameters in motoring. It’s still a concept – so it’s a little bit exaggerated – but the actual production car will be very close to what you see here at AutoExpo 2018.”

The SP SUV concept showcased at auto Expo 2018 in a bright orange and white combination which looks premium. The SP SUV concept gets an aggressive grille from Kia theme line. It also gets new edgy headlamps which comes in two designs – on top a slimmer edgier running light and a larger illumination element on the bottom. At rear end the SP SUV concept looks similar to the Creta and tail lights also looks inspired from the Sporty SUVs.

The SP SUV concept features a double tone design that looks like it was a part of the design process. It looks The SP SUV concept would get a 1.6-litre diesel engine and the new 1-litre direct injection motor that is used by Kia globally. It also gets a typically SUVesque skid plate design on the front and rear bumper and wide wheel arches with large wheels.
