Honda Cars India has unveiled the new 2018 Amazon at Auto Expo 2018. The car is expected to come in market in coming months.

It is based on a new platform and borrows styling cues from Honda’s latest sedans. Now it rides on 15-inch wheels compared to the 14 inchers offered in current model. The overall look looks like miniature tenth-gen Accord.

It will be available in 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine offering 87 Bhp Power and 109Nm Torque. The diesel model will be packed with 1.5-litre i-DTEC Engine offering 98.6 Bhp Power and 200Nm Torque. Both Petrol and Diesel model will use 5-speed gearbox.

The Fuel efficiency of Petrol model is claimed to be 17.8 kmpl and 25.8 kmpl for diesel model.

It has new 7 inch Digipad touchscreen offering smartphone integration, navigation and a host of other features.

It will continue to fight with third-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire launched in India back in May 2017. Other competitors include Hyundai Xcent, VW Ameo, Tata’s Tigor and Zest and Ford Figo Aspire,
