The new Nissan Gravite has officially been unveiled in India with prices ranging from Rs 5.65 lakh to Rs 8.93 lakh, ex-showroom. Nissan is offering the Gravite in five trim levels along with a special Launch Edition, which will be limited to the first 1001 buyers.
Here is a simple breakdown to help you understand what each variant offers.
Price: Rs 5.65 lakh
The Visia is the most affordable Gravite variant. It focuses on essential practicality and safety:
Even at the lowest price, Nissan keeps key safety features standard. This makes the Visia a sensible choice for budget conscious families who still want a proper 7 seater.
Price: Rs 6.59 lakh
The Acenta adds comfort features over the Visia:
Rear AC vents are a big plus for family buyers, especially in warm climates. This trim is aimed at those who want basic tech and comfort without a big jump in cost.
Prices: Rs 7.20 lakh (MT), Rs 7.80 lakh (AMT)
The N-Connecta sits in the middle of the lineup and adds several practical upgrades:
This is also where the automated manual transmission (AMT) option becomes available. For city drivers who prefer an automatic, the N-Connecta AMT is likely to be the sweet spot.
Prices: Rs 7.91 lakh (MT), Rs 8.49 lakh (AMT)
The Tekna adds more premium features:
If you want technology and convenience features without moving to the limited edition, the Tekna is the top non limited choice.
Prices: Rs 8.35 lakh (MT), Rs 8.93 lakh (AMT)
This special variant is limited to the first 1001 buyers and adds extras not found on other trims:
These additions focus on comfort, convenience, and style. While not essential, they help the Launch Edition stand out as a more premium offering.

All variants use the same 1.0 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 71 bhp and 96 Nm. You can choose between a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT across most trims. Most people are only concerned about the engine. Because it seems weak for an MVP, this was the same engine used in Nissan Magnite, where it feels slightly weak, especially going uphill. Not sure how it will perform when it is loaded with 7 people.
In terms of competition, the Gravite overlaps with the Renault Triber. It is built on the same platform and borrows several elements from Triber. Gravite can also indirectly compete with the Tata Punch and Swift.
