Although the Tekton shares its platform with the Renault Duster, Nissan has given it a completely different design. The front features a large grille inspired by the Nissan Patrol with a chrome Nissan logo and a red accent running across it. It also gets large LED headlamps with C-shaped LED DRLs and a connected LED light bar. The aggressive front bumper includes silver skid plates, black body cladding, and LED fog lamps.
From the side, the SUV gets a boxy profile with muscular wheel arches, 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, chrome accents on the front doors, and rear door handles integrated into the window frame.
At the rear, the SUV features connected LED tail lamps, Tekton branding on the tailgate, a roof spoiler, and silver skid plate styling.
The Nissan Tekton measures 4,348 mm in length, 1,815 mm in width, and 1,674 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,657 mm.
The Nissan Tekton is available in six colour options: Pearl White, Onyx Black, Indigo Blue, Flare Garnet Red, Moonbow Grey, and Blade Silver. Buyers can also choose dual-tone versions with a black roof on selected variants.

The cabin features a modern layered dashboard with two large displays and a premium tri-tone black, white, and purple interior theme. The dashboard also gets unique gold-coloured inserts that give it a distinctive look. The SUV continues with a three-spoke steering wheel finished with piano black accents.
Other cabin highlights include power-adjustable front seats, front and rear armrests, rear AC vents, toggle-style climate controls, and a panoramic sunroof.
Nissan claims the Tekton offers 700 litres of boot space when measured up to the roof. The cargo capacity can be increased further by folding the second-row seats.
The Nissan Tekton comes loaded with premium features. It features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also gets built-in Google services with navigation, connected car technology, and a 6-speaker ARKAMYS sound system.
The SUV also includes a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster with customizable layouts and navigation display.
Other features include:
Safety is one of the biggest highlights of the Nissan Tekton. The SUV comes equipped with six airbags, Level 2 ADAS, electronic stability control (ESC), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill hold assist, front and rear parking sensors, electronic parking brake with auto hold, rain-sensing wipers, all-wheel disc brakes, and a 360-degree camera.
The Nissan Tekton has also received a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP.
The Nissan Tekton is available with two turbo-petrol engine options.
The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 100 PS of power and 166 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and delivers an ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency of 19.4 kmpl.
The larger 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine develops 163 PS and 280 Nm of torque. It is offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The manual version delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 17.8 kmpl, while the DCT version offers up to 18.5 kmpl.
The Nissan Tekton enters one of India’s most competitive SUV segments. It will compete with models such as the Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster, Tata Sierra, Tata Curvv, Toyota Hyryder, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Kia Seltos, and Citroen Aircross.
With bold styling, a long list of premium features, modern safety technologies, and two turbo-petrol engine options, the Nissan Tekton aims to strengthen the company’s position in the Indian SUV market.
