Festive season is on its way and Renault India unveiled Renault Captur SUV in India. Renault Captur bookings are now open for initial amount of Rs 25,000. It is expected that launch of Renault captur would happen in next month.
Speaking at the unveiling, Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO & MD, Renault India Operations, said, “Our growth strategy hinges strongly on launching products that cater to the volume and growing segments of the Indian automotive industry, representing evolving customer preferences.Over the last few years, SUV sales are growing exponentially, making it the fastest growing segment in India.”

Company says over the past 5 years, Renault has taken significant steps to grow its presence in India.Company is taking big steps enabled by a progressive strategy across its corporate, product and network fronts.
Renault Captur will come with both petrol and diesel engine. petrol variants will be powered by a 4-cylinder, 1.5-litre engine mated with a five-speed manual transmission. The engine generates max power of 106PS at 5,600rpm and 142Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. The diesel version will be powered by a 1.5-litre engine and mated with a six-speed manual, delivering a maximum power of 110PS at 4,000rpm and a peak torque of 240Nm at 1,750rpm.
Renault aims to reach to 320 dealerships by the end of 2017, and its growing network presence will make Renault products and services, including Renault Captur, more accessible to customers across the country.
