Today Triumph Motorcycles has launched its much awaited motorcycle the Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster in India. the Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster has been launched at a price of Rs. 11.11 lakh (ex-showroom). The Bonneville Speedmaster is low price range cruiser series and its portfolio extends with the launch of the Bonneville Speedmaster. The Bonneville Speedmaster is based on the platform of the Bonneville Bobber. It gets standard cruise control as an additional feature against the Triumph Bonneville Bobber.

The Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster comes with the same engine equiped in the Bonneville Bobber. It is powered by 1,200 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine which generates max power of 76 bhp at 6,100 rpm and a peak torque of 106 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The suspension, chassis and swingarm also same as the Bonneville Bobber. The Speedmaster also gets twin 310 mm discs on the front wheel gripped by two-piston Brembo calipers, while at the rear, it gets a single 255 mm disc with a Nissin caliper.

The Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster will compete with the Harley-Davidson Street Bob and even the Indian Scout Sixty in the cruiser segment. The Indian Scout Sixty is slightly more expensive because of import. The Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster offers a lot of customisation options including a list of over 120 original custom accessories. It also comes with the choice of two ‘inspiration’ kits – Maverick and Highway. It also offers a choice of add-ons like highway windscreen, leather panniers, and a flat handlebar.

The Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster is positioned as an entry-level cruiser. the Speedmaster offers agile handling, with a refined 1200 cc engine, two-up capability and attractive styling. In India, the Speedmaster will be available in three colours which are Cranberry Red, Jet Black and Fusion Black with Phantom White with hand-painted coach lines.
