Triumph Motorcycles has launched It’s new motorcycle the Street Triple RS in India. The Street Triple RS has been launched at a price of ₹ 10.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This is the updated variant of the new-generation Street Triple to be launched in India after the standard Street Triple S was launched earlier this year. The RS variant of Street Triple generates more power then previous version which is 121 bhp at 11,700 rpm and a peak torque of 77 Nm at 10,800 rpm.
The motor comes mated to a six-speed transmission and the RS trim also gets a bi-directional quickshifter as standard. The advanced ABS also gets three level of customisation including road, track and off.
The Street Triple RS comes with a 5-inch full colour TFT screen, which works as the instrument console. The console can be programmed in two different themes and three different styles and the contrast can be adjusted as well. The RS variant comes with switchable traction control and ABS and ride-by-wire. The Street Triple RS also gets five riding models which are road, rain, sport, track and individual.
The Street Triple RS comes with two colour options, which are matt silver ice and phantom black. Triumph will offer over 60 custom accessories for the Street Triple RS which includes Arrow exhausts, swingarm protector kit and so on and so forth. The Street Triple RS can give a healthy competition from the Ducati Monster 821 and the Kawasaki Z900 in the naked middleweight segment in India. The bike will also have a body-coloured cowl for the pillion seat.
