The Tata has launched a facelift for the Tata Tigor subcompact sedan in India with few updates. The facelift version of Tigor has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 5.20 lakh for the base petrol model and going up to Rs. 7.38 lakh top diesel version (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). The updated version comes with a host of cosmetic and feature upgrades over the previous model. Famous actor Hrithik Roshan is new brand ambassador for the subcompact sedan Tigor.

The updated model of Tigor comes with the same Engine options as previous. The Tigor is powered by the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol which generates max power of 84 bhp at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 114 Nm at 3500 rpm. The diesel option is 1.05-litre Revotorq that produces max power of 69 bhp at 4000 rpm and a peak torque of 140 Nm between 1800-3000 rpm. Both the engines are mated with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. The Tigor gets AMT option with petrol version only.

The new car is almost same from outside except few changes. It gets a new diamond-shaped chrome on the front grille and new double barrel headlamps with projectors lens with chrome finish. It also gets a 36-LED high-mounted stop light, chrome-accented front fog lamps, piano black shark fin antenna, revised crystal inspired taillights, new 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and door handles with chrome accents.

The cabin of updated version of the Tata Tigor facelift is decorated with dual black and grey colour scheme. Infotainment system the air vents are surrounded by chrome finish. The car also gets a soft touch knitted roof liner and fabric inserts on the door trim.

The Tata Tigor facelift gets a host of Safety features including dual front ABS with EBD, airbags, corner stability control, seatbelt reminder for the driver. The company says the Tigor gets a reinforced structure with high strength steel. The Tigor comes with all-new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system from Harman which is compatible with video playback, reverse camera assist, and Android Auto.
